Christian Bale has officially opened the doors to his 17-year, $22 million village for foster youth in California. 👏❤️

What started as a mission back in 2005 — sparked by the birth of his daughter and his growing awareness of the foster system—is now a reality.

The newly completed community is designed exclusively for foster children, featuring 12 homes, two studio apartments for older kids taking their first steps toward independence as well as a 7,000-square-foot community centre with trained foster parents also live in the houses full-time.

Bale and his wife Sisi, who are both on the board of the project, say the project exists for one reason; to stop brothers and sisters from being split up when they enter the foster care system 🙌⁠

Thank you, Christian, for turning this massive vision into a life-changing home for so many kids. 🤗

What started as an Uber ride to the hospital turned into a seven-year friendship. 🥹❤️

College student Joey Romano broke his wrist in a skateboarding accident and, worried about the cost of an ambulance, he called an Uber instead.

His driver, Beni Lukumu, took Joey to urgent care, then drove him to the ER when doctors realised he needed further treatment. But Beni didn’t just drop him off.

He stayed by Joey’s side for six hours, helped check him in, kept him company and even sang to him while he was on a morphine drip. When Joey’s grandmother offered to pay him, Beni refused.

That simple act of kindness became the beginning of a friendship that has lasted seven years. Today, Beni works in insurance, but the two still keep in touch.

Sometimes, the people who enter our lives for a few hours end up staying for years. ❤️

Captain Jim Curtis embarked on his final flight after 43 years as a pilot, having served in the Air Force and working for Southwest airlines for 22 years, he hung up his hat ahead of his 65th birthday.

His ‘fini flight’ was extra special as his daughter Julia stood by his side as First Officer 🥹🥰

97-year-old Jim didn’t realise that an angel was about to come into his life when he had a minor car collision with Destiny Smith.

As the pair swapped details, Destiny discovered that he had no family to support him and instantly felt that she needed to do something.

So, rather than getting angry, she took to her social media community to document the incident and see how she could help.

She connected Jim with a social worker who would provide him with support and she began visiting him regularly herself, helping with small errands and also just keeping him company.

Despite being from totally different generations, they formed an incredibly special and unique relationship, documented on tiktok, where they soon went viral for their unexpected, but beautiful friendship.❤️

He was there to congratulate her when she graduated and more recently, when his health took a turn, she visited him in hospital.

Jeremiah Carnegie is a 17-year-old competitive swimmer who, while training at the London Aquatics Centre, realised that many of the families in the local area couldn’t afford lessons for their children 🥹❤️

He came up with the idea to offer free swimming lessons with his swimming club.

780 children took part across the two week programme, this included 320 kids who had never swam before.

Following the two week launch, the mayor of Newham is supporting the initiative and the free lessons are set to continue.

What an incredible legacy to have already at just 17. 👏

When she was born in 2022 at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, veterinarians discovered she had a severe leg deformity that made it impossible for her to stand properly. Without immediate treatment, her chances of survival were dangerously slim.

Determined to give her a fighting chance, a team of specialists created custom-made braces specifically for her tiny legs. Day by day, Msituni grew stronger.

First, she stood. Then she took her first steps. And before long, she was running. 🥹

When a school bully punched 10-year-old Aiden Vazquez, leaving him with a black eye and a cut above his eyebrow that needed stitches, he had every reason to fight back.

But the lifelong Star Wars fan refused, he said “It’s not the Jedi way.”🥹

Aiden’s mum revealed that it was the third year he had experienced bullying at school, but his decision not to retaliate struck a chord far beyond his own classroom.

In an attempt to change the system, he stood by his mother’s side as she pleaded to the Palm Springs Unified School Board for them to do something about the level of bullying and repercussions that bullies received.😣

His story went viral in and eventually reached Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, who praised Aiden’s courage and reminded him that he had shown the world “you can be a Jedi in real life.” ❤️

The greatest strength isn’t always to fight back... it’s choosing not to.❤️
